Appearance: Pours coffee brown with a one finger ecru head; decent retention and squiggles of lacing
Smell: Toasted brown bread and caramel with Port wine and spice cake tones
Taste: Toasted brown bread, brown sugar and caramel forward with Port barrel flavors developing; earthy elements in the mid-palate with a spice cake finish
Mouthfeel: Full bodied with moderate to high carbonation
Overall: I preferred the base version though the age on this 2019 bottling could be a factor
