Look: It pours brown with a tan head. It has low head retention.
Smell: It has strong malty aromas that feature bread. There are dark fruits with bourbon in support. The dark fruits resemble cherries and raisins. There are very faint hints of spiciness.
Taste: It has rich malty flavor of bread and touches of chocolate. There are bourbon notes with cherry and raisin notes. There also is a bit of spiciness to it.
Feel: It has a full body with strong but pleasant alcohol warming.
Overall, a well put together powerful and flavorful doppelbock.
