500ml waxed and capped bottle into a Side Project snifter.
Pours pitch black. Dense and slick. No head or lace. Thick mocha legs. Nose is dried dark fruit, smooth and creamy vanilla, touch of barrel and a light roasty tartness. Beer opens cocoa powder, chocolate, and molasses. Notes of tobacco, raisin, and prunes in the middle. Plenty of booze and barrel. Smooth and layered vanilla towards the end with a spice forward rye presence to finish. Body is full with low carbonation. Smooth and rich on the palate and goes down warm and slick. Boozy finish with a lingering aftertaste.
Everything coming out of Incendiary has been damn impressive and this is no exception.
