Appearance: Pours espresson colored but completely flat; leggy but no lacing
Smell: Strong marionberry aromatics with chocolate, caramel and vanilla elements; the Bourbon is recessive rather than dominant
Taste: Marionberry forward with the chocolate and caramel enveloping; vanilla flavors emerge later but linger; in the mid-palate, the Bourbon makes an impact but is not overpowering
Mouthfeel: Medium to full bodied with no carbonation
Overall: The marionberry is too strong here relative to the other elements; I would likely prefer a non-adjunct version much better

Mightnight black body with a medium brown head. Smells strongly of the marionberry and vanilla intertwined together, with caramel, mild bourbon and even more mild wood. Taste has the berry carry through the whole sip in a more sugary than jammy way, almost like a tootsie pop with how it interacts with the barley and sweeter malts, hint of earth and oak before a boozy finish. Very smooth and thick feel leans boozy if anything besides malty, cooling for a ba BW. I just need to be out on pastry Barleywines because they cover up a God given gift of a style with sugar
