Another solid effort from Incendiary Brewing. Dark in the glass. Small amber head. Chocolaty sweet to the nose. Very nice burst of rich caramel, currant, and a hint of molasses in the mouth. Very pleasing to drink. Strong pleasing flavor that reminds me of the reason I love bourbon barrel stouts from Incendiary. Just a bit less viscosity than my favorites, but overall a very enjoyable beer in a snifter on a relaxing day.

Look: It pours dark brown with a tan head. It has low head retention.
Smell: It has a strongly malty aroma with a blend of whiskey and port. It has dark fruits that feature figs and plums with some dark cherry notes as well.
Taste: It is a bit malty sweet with some toffee touches blended with port and whiskey. It also has fig, plum, and dark cherry notes in support.
Feel: It has a medium full body with strong, but pleasant alcohol warming. It starts of sweet and finishes sweet.
Overall: The port wine and whiskey compliments the base beer which is well done.

Medium black with a brown head, some lazy lacing. Port and bourbon about equal in the nose with big dark fruits, especially raisin and plum. Dark fruit explosion, boozy, port leads the bourbon, malt and candi sugar. Finish is shallow with booze, barrel and yeast are faint, not the cleanest. However I am outvoted as the wife and the friend loved it. But they love port sooooooo

Appearance: Pours espresso colored with the thinnest of films; leggy but no lacing
Smell: Port barrel aromatics dominate with some Bourbon in the tail; caramel and fruit cake underneath
Taste: Fruit cake forward with the caramel and Port flavors complementing; the Bourbon peaks in, through the middle; the finish is a bit boozy and metallic
Mouthfeel: Medium to full body with very low carbonation
Overall: Not up to the standards of previous releases, the Port and Bourbon don't seem to work that well together and the mouthfeel is a bit thin
