2025 version - aged 15 months in a blend of Stagg Jr, EH Taylor and Eagle Rare bourbon barrels
Appearance: Pours espresso colored with a thin beige head that fades to a collar leaving a sprinkling of lacing action
Smell: Rich chocolate fudge aromatics with some roasted malt elements; the Bourbon is apparent but not dominant
Taste: Sweet, rich chocolate fudge flavors forward with a roasted (almost burnt) dark malt flavor building; the Bourbon complements, in the middle, and the finish is somewhat boozy
Mouthfeel: Full bodied with low to moderate carbonation; warmth in the gullet
Overall: Incendiary makes a lot of terrific BA imperial stouts but this one is too rich, a bit too sweet and a bit too roasty for my palate

Look: It pours very dark brown with a brown head. It has average head rentention.
Smell: It has strong chocolate and roast aromas up front with bourbon notes. There are also some brownie elements with very low dark fruits.
Taste: It has strong chocolate flavors with some roast and bourbon. It also has some brownie batter elements. It has plums with dark cherry notes. There are very low levels of vanilla.
Feel: It has a thick and chewy body with strong alcohol warming. There balance is slightly towards the bitter side.
Overall: It reminds me of a thick chocolate, brownie desert with bourbon mixed in. The dark fruits added an extra complex dimension to it.
