Appearance: Pours fudge colored with a thin tan head that quickly fades to a ringlet; leggy, with squiggles
Smell: Caramel, chocolate and coffee supported the oaky Bourbon tones
Taste: Fruity coffee flavors forward with bitter chocolate underneath; caramel emerges, as well; after the swallow, the Bourbon makes a statement and delivers an intense, but austere finish
Mouthfeel: Medium to full bodied with low to moderate carbonation; some warmth in the gullet
Overall: I have tasted a lot of Incendiary's BA stouts and this one is much thinner than any of the others I have tried; I don't think the flavors have coalesced as well as I was expecting, either; not bad but just not up to my lofty expectations for this brewery
