Look: It pours very dark brown with a brown head. It has low head retention.
Smell: It is quite boozy up front with roast and dark fruits. The whisky and the bourbon lead the way with the rye being more complimentary. The dark fruits take on a raisin and plums notes.
Taste: It has roasted flavors with raisins and plums. The bourbon and whiskey flavors are in the from with the spicy rye being in support.
Feel: It has quite a full body on the chewy side. The alochol is quite noticeable; however, it is smooth with pleasant warming.
Overall, a well put together beer with plenty of complexity and the elements working really well together.
