Look: It pours dark brown with a tan head. Head retention is low.
Smell: There are strong caramel aromas with strong plum. It has a bit of a sugary type elements with some black cherry. The whiskey elements are very low in the background.
Taste: It has strong caramel, plum, and dark cherry notes. The whiskey elements are stronger in the flavor than in the aroma.
Feel: It has a full body. It is mostly on the sweet side with a bit of a bitter twinge in the finish.
Overall, a flavorful beer on the sweet side with plenty of complex elements making this beer very enjoyable.
