Look: It pours dark brown with a tan head. Head retention is low.
Smell: It has a strong malty aroma featuring toffee, sherry, and nuts. There are some dark nuts featuring figs and plums.
Taste: It has strong malty aromas featuring toffee. There are some caramel notes and some notes. The sherry touches make it a little sweeter overall. There are some plums, figs, and dried cherries.
Feel: It is quite thick, but not chewy. It has strong alcohol warming and is on the sweet side from start to finish.
Overall, the sherry adds some nice touches with the other combination of complex characteristics.

Pitch brown opaque pour with a khaki head. Smells like straight bourbon and sherry booze. Taste is not as boozy as I feared, though they definitely still starring, getting raisin, caramel, but there’s a weird grainy note that isn’t dark like barley. It’s brighter yet robust. Kind of weird but not undrinkable
