Half pour at Checkerspot. Hazy golden pour, filmy white head, lacing. Hoppy, fruity aroma. Taste is juicy, hoppy, sweet finishing with a light sticky bitterness

Hazy amber with a dense white head, decent retention, rings of lace
Juniper, fruit candy, mango, citrus aromas
Sweet fruit, berries, citrus, juniper flavors, a bit too sweet for me
Medium bodied, slightly cloying, could use more carbonation
If they dried this beer out, I'd probably like it

Not as hazy as you would expect, also not as golden in color. The white creamy head leaves some lacing. The smell hints some pine notes. The beer tastes certainly like a New England style beer, yet I am not sure if it fits the category 100%. It is very good and feels almost like a hybrid between beer styles.
I really loved it

Drank from a crowler poured yesterday. It's not retired anymore.
The body is lively but the color is a bit muddied: kind of a densely foggy brownish yellow.
Aroma is quite nice: an older-school American IPA hop profile with pleasantly sharp hints of piney juniper.
Flavor is quite well done. It's been forever since I've had a straight up juniper beer (people were going whole ham and making pine ones for a while), but this is reminiscent of Rogue's old Juniper, albeit with a lesser yeast profile. Pine and citrus up front, a lightly malty middle, and then sharper hops in the back where the juniper nodes recede.
Not exactly understated but far from extreme by 2020 standards. An adventurous beer that is nonetheless quite drinkable.

Tastes like a juniper berry. And beer.
