Clear yellow, white head, poor retention, specks of lace.
Pilsner malt aroma, slightly grassy, a hint of underripe fruit on the nose
Sweet, light malt flavor, a bit grassy, overall light flavors
Light bodied, could use a little more carbonation
Not a fan

Clear, pale gold body sporting a large white head with good lacing. Aroma of soft, ripe fruit twisted around a yeasty base and complimented by a bit of sweetness. Floral, herbal hops add depth to the taste without being a distraction. Moderately carbonates, medium bodied mouthfeel. Finishes crisp and clean.

Poured from the can into a Gaffel stange glass.
Deep brass and nearly metallic bronze yellow color, with great clarity and hints of fine linear carbonation. Heck the color nearly matches the metallic yellow on the can! Sudsy and classic three finger white with big soapy bubbles and some retention as well.
Sharp grains on the aroma, quite dry sensing with a classic bready pils sensing flavor. Neutral hop angle but a bit quiet on that front making it a bit hard to discern, with a slight honey sweetness.
Palate produces some surprises. Light bodied a bit flirting with wet and somewhat watery texture. Sweet malt and touching honey, but a big caramel like sweetness particularly on the finish. Doesn't come off that clean like in character, but with a delicious bready and almost toffee angle of sweet sugar. Some mild sensing herbal bitterness of hop.
Doesn't come like a typical Kölsch, but is still a tasty drinkable brew.

Picked up a four pack of tall boys down in Rockville while running errands. My first from this brewer. Really pleasant bread note and decently balanced, but maybe a touch watery in the texture. Definitely worth a try if you like a sweet and well made kolsch with little graininess and a fragrant floral nose.

Had on tap at the brewery. It's a good, solid kolsch although a little more bitter and less grainy than I was anticipating. Some earthy hops with a light floral aftertaste. It's a good light summer beer with nice flavor.
