A labor of love, this special beer ties together all of the old world! It has sweet notes from the malts like a Scottish beer, dark malty notes like an English porter, and a dry malty aftertaste like great Irish stouts do! Come celebrate all of the classic English beers in one unique beer!

Typical mostly dark brown body with a tan head. Aromas of dark fruits wrapped in brown bread and a kiss of tootsie roll. Tastes strongly of tootsie roll, brown bread, toffee, and dried dark fruits with mild yeast. Feel is light and malty, has a touch of earthiness despite not having those flavors. Solid scotch ale, don't see many canned these days

On tap at BCO taproom,
Nice deep transparent chestnut color
Smell- a little faint whisky note dominated
Tastes ,decent, but a little too much whisky note, and slightly thin feel.
Overall, not bad, but kinda meh. Won't order another.
