I’ve had occasion to visit the very nice folks at Kings Court a few times and not tried many of their beers yet but have found them excelling with their darker maltose offerings. For me their hoppy stuff is still a bit uneven and this beer is certainly a case in point.
There’s very little milkshake aspect here; if lactose was used it’s minimal and doesn’t really make its presence felt, there’s no full creamy body. Rather it’s thin and fairly lively in carbonation and has a grainy aspect. This really reads like a fruit beer, it’s highly
Fruit forward with a grainy, almost cereal like note following quickly behind. Little
Bitterness, the Galaxy hops are subtle players.
Not a terrible fruit beer but nothing outstanding and for me didn’t live up the “Galaxy hopped milkshake ipa” description.
