L: A more purple hue due to ample blueberries, mostly filtered with a similarly colored head that's fades in a flash to a wide froth ring and sparse cap. No lacing.

S: This is a true sour as the nose can attest. The acidic smell dominates any fruits but I get mostly blueberry and a little malt.

T: Again the tart acidity covers most of the berries, I do get raspberry and blueberry, the others are more faint.

F: While this is in the category of more sour than sweet - it is not insanely so. Still quite drinkable and well carbonated.

O: This overt sourness is for some people. Not for me. For what it is the execution is there, but unfortunately the berries not so much.

Pours a thick, gorgeous berry color (a mashup of blue-, straw-, and rasp-berry), with a fine purple-tinged head. The aroma is light with hints of fruit as expected. Tons of juicy, tart fruit flavors with a sour kick.

Can / American pint glass / No food pairing

Pours a cloudy pinkish purple with a white head that dissipates quickly. It smells like wheaty biscuity malt with hints of sour jam. The taste is very sour up front followed by raspberry and blackberry with a little bit of the blueberries on the finish. It goes down very easily and overall is pretty good.

This is the first Kings County Brewing we have had. Ordered from Tavour and poured into a pint glass. Typical Berlinar weisse.

Look: Red strawberry color, with thin pink head about a quarter inch.
Smell: Sour, acid berry smelling.
Taste: Sour, tart flavor of berry (maybe strawberry and raspberry... maybe). Don't really get blueberry or blackberry. The strawberry and raspberry is very light, but the tart acid is strong enough that it covers up most of the berry flavor.
Feel: Acidic, carbonated notes really hide any fruity mouthfeel value. The acid sticks with you when you swallow and the other flavors die quickly so the mouthfeel is flat.

I like Berlinars. My wife got this one thinking about the sours we have been into, but this one fell flat in terms of the fruit value that it pitches on the can. I have a second can of this one, but will save it for when there is no other beer to drink.
