A: The beer is very hazy to cloudy brownish yellow in color. It poured with a finger high off white head that has good retention properties and never completely faded away, leaving lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of pear and grapefruit are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has additional notes of mango and stone fruit as well as underling hints of caramel malts; the grapefruit flavors linger into the finish. There is a light to moderate amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied and a bit crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: The hops in this IPA lend a lot of complexities to the smell and taste without really lending much in the way of bitterness. It's a nice change of pace to have this compared to most of the IPAs you see today.

"The Sky Above: Ella, El Dorado, and Amarillo hops give off a bright tropical citrus punch. Undertones of pear, watermelon, stonefruit, and spicy floral notes keep you intrigued and coming back for more" (from the brewery)

16 ounce tall can, w/o canning date or other freshness info to be had.

Pour darker, plum flesh hued, murky and fully hazed...leaves a load of fine sheeting on the glass.

Muted stone fruit on the sniff.

More of the sniff carrying through onto the palate, with soft and ripe stone fruits carrying the load. Also getting some ripe mango and apricot notes.

Super soft and smooth in the mouth..well crafted and well worth picking up a 4 pack or a growler fill if available from the source.
