Pours a thin head on a hazy amber colored body.
The aroma is grainy and malty. Like a bag of wet barley.
The taste is lots of barley, grain with mild lemon bitterness. Great use of the malt side.
The texture is softer with moderate carbonation.
Here's an amber ale that's malt forward. A nice exception to the currently popular bold hoppy amber ales.

Had at the brewhouse. Served on a pint glass.

A - Clear, deep amber color with white foamy head.

S - Syrupy, honey-like caramelt malt aroma.

T - Moderate to low malty flavor, no hops. I am assuming the abv is not incredibly high, however, there was some alcohol burn on the finish.

M - Low carbonation. Medium to full bodied.

D - Below average drinkability. Mostly a result of the watery and stinky bitter alcohol aftertaste.

On-tap at Beachwood BBQ, on to the beer:

This is your standard micro amber ale. It has an orangish amber color with a little head, though it doesn't leave lacing on the glass. Some tea-like hops and a few esters in the aroma, not a whole lot of intensity in the nose. To taste, there is some toffee crisp, though the tea-like hops are most noticable. A touch of fruity esters complete round it all off. An amber ale that's worth trying out.

On tap at the source.

A - Pours mahogany with 2 fingers of white head. Dissipates slow and leaves a 1/2 ringed finger of head. Leaves slight lacing.

S/T - Honey and caramel, with bits of residual malty sweetness. Finishes with bittering hops.

M - Full-bodied, malt dominated and lightly sweet.

D - Good overall. Didn't wow me, but I think this will easily be a pub favorite for those who like malty ambers.

This is a solid, tasty amber ale, well-balanced with pretty good character and fairly easy to drink.

It's red amber with a small, off-white head, soon shrinking to a ring and a few wisps.

The aroma is mild buttery-caramelly grain, a little toasty, leafy and slightly grassy.

The taste is light caramelly grain, fairly toasty, light sweetness just dominated by light grassy and herbal bitterness backed up by a bit of bitter citrus peel underneath. The grassy-herbal-cirrus peel bitterness lingers lightly.

A: Ruby-amber colored with a decent lacing off-white head.
S: A ridiculous amount of butter/diacetyl. Some sweetness too.
T: Same as the smell, some malts too.
M: Clean and refreshing.
D: Good session beer, will definitely get a six-pack if I can fine wone.
