Out of retirement and very tasty. The best grapefruit beer hands down. The grapefruit hits your nose and palate but the ensuing beer flavor rounds it out very well. Its not easy to find but well worth it if you can find a bottle!

Pouring out of the 12 oz: copper golden brown color w/ a off- white heads. The aroma of fresh squeezed grapefruit w/ grapefruit skin, intense grapefruit aroma w/ a touch of tropical fruits perhaps mango and tangerine. The tart as the nose suggested lots of fresh squeezed grapefruit and little bit of its rinds w/ moderate carbonation and nice bittering to clean up them sweetness and the finish is medium to long w/ a clean hoppy finish after taste. So juicy!
If grapefruit ipa us judge by grapefruit sculpin and rubicon not only stands up to it maybe it surpassed it!

Pours a half finger of head on a hazy straw body.
The aroma is grapefruit, pine resin, honey, mango and pineapple.
The taste is moderate grapefruit bitterness and honey.
The texture is crisp.
It's a fine ale.
