Sep. 2016: 650 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 7.0%. Golden colour, moderate white head. Aroma of fruity, herbal and piney American hops. Slightly dry flavour, nice to have an IPA that has not been killed by crystal malts. Piney and grapefruity hops, bitter aftertaste. Very refreshing.

Bottle of unknown age into a tulip glass. Assuming fresh as this just recently hit packaged format. Pours vibrant copper with two fingers of medium density white head that had good retention. Nose potent grapefruit and other subtle citrus notes. Taste is citrus forward and a bit bready, typical West Coast bitterness and quite a bit of astringency with perhaps a little spiciness on the finish. Mouthfeel is thinner, carbonation high, almost a bit bubbly. Was really looking forward to this being packaged based on previous draft tastings at their brewpub. A bit let down by the packaged taste, not nearly the dry citrusy goodness I'd had on tap previously. Hoping they get this recipe dialed in to what I assume were smaller batch sizes before this went packaged format.
