Poured into a 13 oz Teku glass not sure when it was canned. Pours a fairly hazy yellow orange with a 2 plus finger sticky white head that leaves a thin wall of lace as it slowly settles. 4.25
Smell is ripe melon, guava, tangerine, peach, mango, apricot, and some grapefruit. 4.25
Taste follows cantaloupe, tangerine, guava, peach, mango upfront with apricot and grapefruit lingering a bit after each bold sip. 4.25
Mouthfeel is bigger than average, soft gentle carbonation, a tad sticky but not dry, and at 8% it is loaded with flavor but goes down really easy. 4.5
Overall this was given to by a friend and man is it tasty and far from one dimensional. I would highly recommend this bold NEDIPA. 4.25 Really nice stuff.

My first taste of Canned Heat. (Not including the old boogie band I love!) 16oz can dated 3/17/2020 (very fresh!) poured into an old Hammerhead Red pint glass. The can says Hop Boogie India Pale Ale, 7.2%, and it's a fairly aromatic, cloudy NEIPA, leaning towards the West Coast a bit. Maybe appropriate as the Canned Heat Blues Band were mostly cats from California. (Sadly most are no longer with us.)
Not as aromatic as some, but a very nicely balanced taste and mouthfeel. After the Pandemic I'll hafta visit the brewery in Fall River Mass, 'cause this beer excellent!

Can to tulip. 02/05/20 on the top close to the rim.
The appearance was a modest looking burnt orange murky to hazy color with a level foamy white head sitting on top and settling off at a fairly slow pace. Some filmy semi-foamy lace wound around my glass.
The aroma had a terrific blend of sweet mangoes, pineapples, passion fruit and a light touch of dragon fruit while pulling in a sly clean biscuity smooth and ever so light touch on the back end.
The flavor leaned slightly towards the sweet side with a warming bitterness to subjugate some dryness for the overall blend. Mild aftertaste of grassy hops, mangoes and pineapples.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a decent sipping quality about it. Lots of dryness rolling in and around. Appropriate low carbonation. Some smoothness. Finishes with some sweet passion fruit and mangoes.
Overall, as a New England styled IPA, this definitely works.

Cloudy Pineapple color with a 4F head in a Spielgelau IPA glass.
Grapefruit, tropical fruit aroma.
The body is a bit thin.
The taste which doesn’t transition well from the aroma.
The beer starts off with a great look, aroma, but the taste isn’t as well defined- citrus and other fruit in the taste.
Excellent beer, but the recipe could be tweaked to have a stronger, well defined taste.
