Canned 3/04/20
Pours a large frothy bubbly tan head with med retention . fair lacing, very dark molasses brown color
Nose brings dark malts, a bit roasty with some chocolate notes, light toasted coconut, little grainy and caramel
Taste starts with quite a bit of coconut, some toasted coconut and a little artificial with some imitation vanilla as well, cocoa and chocolate with little caramel and hint of roast, drier finish, hint of alcohol
Mouth is med bod but feels a tad thin . med carb, touch of alcohol warmth
Overall not bad, decent base porter although a bit thin, coconut was light on the nose but big on the taste and had real and maybe imitation characters but could be all real
