I'm rating this for the style, not compared to anything outside of the style. This is an excellent, almost perfect light lager. Like a pilsner, but with additional flavors of ginger, lemon, and a hint of wasabi without the burn. Perfectly clear and pale yellow like other lagers, this has flavor complexities that megabrews cannot dream of. The can suggests pairing with sushi, and I can see their point. This would accompany spicy and bold flavors well, yet stands on its own as a very refreshing low alcohol beer. Excellent!
