Can dated 01/08/20.
This was poured into a flared tulip.
The appearance was a soft glossy yellow color with a settling thin cap of white foamy head. Just a small wispy semi-concave touch of lace.
The aroma held up the sweet to tart strawberries all of the way in front while presenting a small semi-crisp wheaty curve at the bottom.
The flavor leaned basically the same way with the strong strawberry sweet to tart character then a small semi-wheaty/grassy kick punching at the aftertaste - mellow and strawberry-ish.
The mouthfeel was almost medium bodied with a small crisp sessionability about it. Good carbonation. Stiff sort finish with some crisp wheaty character mixing with strawberry sweet/tart hints.
Overall, I'd like to think this was supposed to be a Berliner Weisse and I guess I can see some sort of qualities of that. But in my opinion, it's probably more fruited sour ale, to be honest.
