On-tap 12/10/2021 at the brewery’s taproom in Fall River, MA, served in a half-pint glass.
A: The beer is a deep orange color, with a short off-white head that fades quickly and leaves a thin lace on the glass.
S: The aroma contains strong orange and other citrus fruits, floral and slightly dank hops, caramelized malts and some alcohol.
T: The taste likewise starts out with a strong burst of juicy orange and other citrus & tropical fruits. Then some booziness follows along with a strong but not over-powering floral and slightly dank hops bitterness. The malt character is hearty and brings some balance. The after-taste is sweet and slightly hoppy.
M: Crisp and smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.
O: Tasty, goes down ok, slightly filling, strong kick, good representation of style. This is a decent juicy 2IPA to drink for a while, but I much prefer the straight-up version of Juelz.
