My first brew from Beer On Earth, a brewery I visited last week along with Moniker which is right across the street. I had this beer on tap there, but they didn’t have it to go and I didn’t feel like gambling on the 4 packs they did have, so I picked up a single of this at the store the other day. Let’s get into it
Pours a hazy pale yellow with a finger of white head that fades to a ring and leaves minimal lacing
Pretty standard stuff in the nose, but it’s not very expressive. I’m picking up on aromas of peach ice cream, orange juice, doughy malt, light vanilla, and a touch of tart pineapple
It’s quite a bit better in taste since the tart fruit cuts through more. On the front end of the sip I’m tasting tart pineapple, underripe mango, orange juice, creamy peach, lemon zest, and crackery malt. The swallow brings notes of underripe mango, orange zest, pineapple, wheat bread, and a touch of white pepper
A light medium body pairs with moderate carbonation, resulting in a zesty and sharp beer. Finishes mostly dry with a nice tartness
This is nothing special, but pretty good overall. Another RI brewery ticked
