A sneaky strong ale that is perfect any time of the year. It drinks like a blonde ale, with light malt notes of grain and honey, citrusy esters, and light noble hop flavor and aroma. It is balanced slightly more toward malty sweetness than hoppy bitterness, but finishes dry and is never cloying.

I will admi I was hoping a little more from this beer. I bought the bottle at the brewery. I really enjoyed the brewery and plan to return sometime. I doubt I will order this beer.
Pours a slightly hazy yellow color with no real head or lacing. Smell and taste is definitely boozy from the whiskey barrel aging. It is a bit thin but warming. Probably not a repeater.
