Turquoise Trail is the lightest of our beers, dedicated to the Highway 14 region and Rt. 66 car culture. This cream ale is All New Mexico, featuring barley from Schwebach Farms, San Jon grown blue corn, milled at Valencia Mills in Belen, for color and pleasant grain-like sweetness, and our homegrown hops. This beer is crisp and refreshing; a thirst-quenching tailgate beer with low ABV and IBUs.

Pours a light, rosé colored body with a slight haze; dense carbonation; dense and lasting head, generally one-finger thick, white; nice display of foam flecks and fingers inside the glass. Excellent cereal grain scent; mild berry-like esters. The taste has a nice corn tortilla base with a delicate strawberry-like sweetness; fine, well-rounded hop bitterness. Medium-light body; smooth with a subtle velvety touch; lightly dry.
This very interesting cream ale owes its uniqueness to flaked blue corn. It definitely affects the color, smell, and taste, all in a good way. Its character really grows as the beer gently warms.
ABV: 4.6%; pouring temperature: 42.5 °F; canning info: 2025/09/11 (assumed best-buy date)
Source: local purchase (Oliver's -- Ojo Caliente, NM)
