Poured into a pint glass. Pours a light to medium golden amber with somewhat fizzy white head that fizzes away quickly at the end of the pour, leaving slight lacing. Aroma of pale malt, corn adjunct, light grassy hops and a hint of lemon. Flavor is pale malt, lemon, corn sweetness and grassy hops with a little graininess in the finish. Medium bodied with light creaminess and sharp carbonation. A fairly standard Euro lager with some noticeable sweetness. i don't know whether corn is an adjunct in this, but it sure has the profile. Mild and inoffensive as most light lagers are, but with a bit more graininess to the finish. The pour, with a big burst of fizziness at the end was unexpected.

Going from memory...had this over a week ago at Refugio Grey from 12 oz can.
A: Light tan color with faint off white head.
S: Mild cracker malt.
T: Follows aroma...super basic lager with mild cracker malt.
M: Light body. The barest hint of malt sweetness.
D: My least favorite offering from Cerveceria Austral...try the Torres del Paine or Calafate. Or if you are really jonesing for a dark beer, the Yagan might do.

I tried the Austral at the Platinum Club in Santiago. It poured a clear golden with white head that left some lace. The scent and taste were similar to others for this style of beer. The Mouthfeel is lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it's ok.

Had on tap in Puerto Natales, Chile
L: Clear golden pour with 2 fingers of white head. Falls rapidly.
S: Macro brew.... mild malts with faint hops and veggies.
T/F: Standard macro brew... minimal hops and malts but not much of either. Slightly unpleasant cooked vegetables. Thin and fizzy.
O: This is a pretty crappy beer. Certainly no better than a bud light. I'd rather drink water.
