A large welcoming taproom greets guests at this Fairfield brewery in a mall off highway 12, in the shadow of an outpost of the megabeercorp that will not be named. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and you never know who you might bump into here. Their solid and varied beer lineup does not disappoint.

This is a relatively new brewery and while fairly out of the way, is minutes from Heretic. The brewer is super friendly and his beers are tremendous. The variety is impressive for such a new brewery with several casks, ipas, Belgium’s and English beers. All are tremendously well executed, true to style and top notch. Personally, I prefer his beers to heretic. The cask beers add another entire dimension - highly recommended to gain an appreciation for this style. Food trucks are there regularly.
