The previous poster hit the nail on the head by calling this a river or softball beer. Picked up a four pack of pints at the Sac Food Co-op. This is essentially a better Bud Light or Asahi. Fortunately, I love lagers and dislike hoppy beers; so this one passes muster with me; however, I prob won't buy again, as there's nothing really special about this beer.

Picked up a 4 pack from this place near UC Davis, so their control measures were wild, but expected I guess even if drinking outdoors.
Pours a light yellow, lacks the clarity of the BMC big boys in terms of the appearance of a light beer. 1/3" white head, retention was meh. The aroma was pretty neutral, surprised to read that it has "New Zealand hops" because it didn't smell that way. Maybe it had literally, 2 hop cones. Lacks any "corn" aspect in the nose, because this is like Budweiser, rice my man. Also lacked a 'lager' aspect in the nose, but it was still decent.
Taste was a good experience, while not "hoppy" or whatnot, it was a relative improvement and just as good if not better than your average light beer. The mouth feel was "thin" but appropriate for style. Ample carbonation. If you search for it, you can tell the hops are indeed different from Bud, and for the better. Glad I checked it out, good river/softball beer.
