Offering #1 from a flight at the brewery. Slightly hazy gold and not much on the nose. The flavor malty with a hint of herbal hops and a touch of sweetness. Medium carbonation and light feel round it out nicely. Bright is the word I would choose to describe it. This beer isn't going to wow you with flavor, but it's crisp and refreshing.

I am trying this beer off the tapper at The brewery as part of a four sample flight. It poured a clear light golden with thin white head that is leaving some nice lace. The scent had crisp malt notes with subtle hop flare. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with subtle fruit presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

Served on-tap at the brewery.

Slightly hazy light gold with short cap of foamy white head and thin rings of lacing.

Slightly estery hot-dog water aroma.

Aroma far outdone by the flavor which is pale malty with a kick of herbal hoppiness. Esters are not really evident. Low bitterness.

Feel is crisp with light body and medium carbonation.

Enjoyed it enough I ordered two (other beers overpriced) and could have easily had 1-2 more after getting past the weird off-aroma. Good American Blonde Ale.

On tap at the brewery. Solid easy-drinking second beer to go with food.

Light head which leaves a few streaks on the glass. Straw color with a haze.

The smell is far more spicy than most Kölsches. The malt is hard to pick up to the nose.

The malt on the tongue is slightly soured almost as if it received some Saison in the batch. It is still over-hopped, even if it is a well-made beer, just off style. Moderate aftertaste. Appropriate carbonation and body.
