I am trying this beer off the tapper at The brewery as part of a four sample flight. It poured a clear golden with thin white head that is leaving some nice lace. The scent had wonderful tropical fruit hop notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with semi sweet tropical fruit presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.

 

 

 

Cloudy gold color. Lasting rim bubbles from a minor head. Good ring lace initially, spots thereafter.

Lots of tropical fruit and grapefruit rind to the nose.

The flavor starts with a surprisingly dry pale malt base. The hop is also different from the nose because it's straight up bitter, like black pepper. The aftertaste is flat but it does linger a long time.
