The appearance is like a Brown Ale where light passes easily. No head and no lace at all.

Cranberry tart nose. Subtle and not overly sour.

Light sweetness of larger stone fruit. The body is decent but it's enhanced by the lower carbonation. The sour flavors are really overtones -- subtly showing up in the swallow.

Basically a more cherry Rosetta with a longer finish. Good beer from a young brewery.

On-tap at Democracy Brewing, Boston, MA

A: The beer is very hazy dark brown when viewed from afar and is clear dark brownish red when held up to the light (but too dark to see if there is any visible carbonation). It poured with a quarter finger high light beige head that died down and left a collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of sourness are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and is sour with notes of black cherries.
M: It feels a bit more than light-bodied and a little tart on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is easy to drink, especially since it is not overly sour. I particularly liked the black cherry flavors in the taste.
