Cloudy, light brown color. Smaller initial head which settles to rim bubbles. Minimal streaks for lace.
The smell features ash and some burnt malt. No notable sweetness to the nose.
The taste bring a light touch of malt sugar--almost like molasses but highly diluted. The body is naturally rich and the carbonation is also low, making this a thick beer. There's a brief touch of sourness in the aftertaste but it fades rapidly.
