Dark brown where light doesn't pass through the edge. Okay head but it fully disapates to no bubbles and no lace.
Clean smell but with little of the traditional Porter expectations of chocolate.
The flavor is an improvement from the smell because the darker malts kick in. I also note a stronger alcohol warming. The body is neutral but the carbonation is elevated. There's a light hop bitterness in the finish. The aftertaste is relatively short with the alcohol having the greatest presence.
