From the brewer:
Light, crisp, and highly drinkable German-style beer that originates from Cologne (Köln), Germany. It’s fermented at cooler temperatures like a lager, giving it a clean, refreshing finish. Expect a pale golden color, subtle fruitiness, gentle malt sweetness, and a soft, dry finish with a mild hop bitterness. It’s the perfect “all-day “ beer — balanced, smooth, and food friendly.

Golden color and clear. Minor, quickly dissipating head. No lace.
Malt forward smell as expected but with a twist—this has a funky earthy overtone. There’s also a light sour aroma.
This is more bitter than most Kölsches and fuller bodied. The sourness detected is not at all present in the taste. Instead I get a clean, ale-like malt flavor. The finish is surprisingly balanced. Shorter aftertaste although the bitterness lingers.
