Bottle at Three Magpies. Amber pour, small creamy head. Sweet, malty, caramel aroma. Taste is more bready, caramel malts, wirh a smidge of bitterness. Dries out a bit too.

Keg halfpint at The Townhouse, Ely, England. Golden colour, white head. Citrussy and piney aroma. Piney flavour, a bit one-dimensional. Not bad, but could be better.

Quite simply a confusing beer. Lock covers the appearance of the beer, if there was a sub category for the look of the bottle then that's 1.25 its bizarre, hard to read or comprehend. Now the beer. Smell as I would expect from an IPA hops and fruit straight to the nose. Colours good but the head disappears in seconds and the beer is quite simply flat - maybe just my bottle but usually flat beer has a poor taste and this one tastes very good, so confused I leave it at flat. Feel as I said it has a lovely taste just missing - well something. Confused yep this beer is brewed and bottled in Bury St Edmunds at the Green King plant so what is Craft Academy? Green King brew much better ales and beers them selves. Confused.
