Blue Skies Brewery

Big building, lots of parking, good size bar and plenty of tables. Large outdoor area for summer concerts. Very friendly staff. 10 Beer taps plus lots of wine and cider.

We stopped here to try their beers and to have lunch. The place has a rural location just off US-12. It's in a large metal building with plenty of parking. The interior of the pub is a large open space with a long bar and seating. Plenty of tables and chairs are available. A large, covered outdoor space is also available. It has heating and side curtains for cool-season use. This space is also used as a music venue, plus 4 TVs were noted. The vibe is okay as was the service.

There were 14 beers on tap plus a seltzer and a cider. We chose a sampler flight of 7 beers to arrive at an overall evaluation. None of the beers was much to write home about. A couple were to style, but just barely. Others were tasty but not to my understanding of its style. We rated them 2.75 to 3.75 with an overall average of a 3.14 rating.

The pizza that we ordered was okay. I hope this place makes better wine than they do beer because I can't recommend this place as a good beer experience.
