Pours a handsome clear dark amber with a modest foamy cap in the Leute Bokbier glass. Substantial malty body. Aroma of grain and something dark and plummy. Rather sweet with that resiny hop note I associate with these Fest beers.
Quite malty with a a hint of Mexican sugar cane candy. This is a rich and satisfying brew that is kind of like an Oktoberfest, but quite robust. From the 32 oz crowler can purchased at the brewery tasting room.
