Pours a deep golden coloration with a small, fizzy head. Smells of light doughy malt with hoppy notes of citrus and lighter tropical fruit: grapefruit and papaya.Taste is a nice balance of doughy malt, citrus/tropical fruit (grapefruit/papaya) and herbal/spicy estery notes, with a lightly dank grassiness as well. Finishes with a light bitterness and soft tartness coming through in the aftertaste. Medium body and carbonation.
This is a nicely balanced Belgian IPA brewed with Saison yeast, which really shows. I'm not sure how much of a fan of the style I am, but I reckon this is a pretty good example of it.
