You know when you are in the pocket...your friends know when you are in the pocket. its when you are wakesurfing and you let go of the rope, because you found the sweet spot on the wave, the pocket. now you’re surfing.
This pale ale is easy on the hops and friendly on the tongue. It finishes with a smooth bitternesss and not a lot of bite. A crushable ale featuring willamette and cascade hops.
40 IBU

On tap at the brewery taproom into Troegs pint glass. Pours crystal clear golden orange/amber color with a small dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas and flavors of grapefruit, orange, lemon, peach, pineapple, citrus peel, wood, peppercorn, pine, cracker, toasted bread, light caramel, herbal, floral, grass. Medium pine, citrus peel, herbal, floral, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Bready/sticky light to medium body. Medium plus carbonation, fairly crisp, clean, refreshing finish. Light resins and lingering drying. No hop astringency, very drinkable. Great cascade Willamette profile. Classic tasting apa. Similar to SNPA.
