Mr. Skov’s Påske Øl is a limited edition brewed in collaboration with Det Lille Bryggeri.
In this brew, we have chosen the local Vestjyske Stauning Whiskey. In 2018, we picked wild Danish sun-ripened yellow plums, which we aged in the sublime Stauning Whiskey.
This unique beer has a perfect balance and should be enjoyed in good company around a shared meal.

Copenhagen 16/9 2022. 50 cl bottle from Meny, Rotunden, Hellerup. Yellow label with a crooked black tree with a single red apple. Quite well designed.
Pours opaque murky amber with a small white head. Settles as thin layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is intense with a strong sweet and malty odor mingling with sugary alcohol and dark fruits. Burnt dark malts, toffee and caramel. Brown sugar. Plums and raisins. Boozy sweet scent.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, sticky, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a heavy sweetness followed by moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet and quite boozy. Lingers for a while.
Sweet Easter greeting.
