A: Pale straw pour with tons of overly active effervesce. Towering 3 inch stone white head sits atop stubbornly. Pillowy and cloudy capping is soft leaving tons of beef lacing behind on the vessel.
S: Slightly sour lemon musk, splash of champagne yeastiness. Liquid bread, mildewy barnwood.
T: Flavor was sweet sugary grains at first, followed by a lemony sourness, barnyard musk thereafter. Sharp yeasty twang, lemon fruit, pear and some dried honey. Lemon grain, semi-dry sour orange, wheat with a musky yeasty twang on the swallow. Tangerine and honeysuckle rounds out.
M: Crisp and full-bodied mouthful, very smooth texture with a gentle alcohol warming from the 10% which is very well managed. Musky lemon flowers.
O: Overall a very crisp, and intricate layered flavoring, with a clean palate and defined nuances. Refreshing, especially on a hot summer day, highly enjoyable with a great drinkability rating.

Bottle pour - not quite clear gold honey color with thick white head leaving moderate lacing. Nose is oddly briney but taste follows with a mild sweetness and an almost dry finish. Quite good.

Boozy on the front end, but a very nice sourish finish. Full flavor, with a skunky Belgian bite. Bottle conditioned very well, I'll buy this baby again.

Aroma is slightly sour, and musty. Pours clear golden with light, creamy head. Taste is sweet (citrus) and spice. Not much aftertaste, bu mouth feel is right on. A nice version of their original....
