Blind-tasted except for the beer's name and brewery/country, zero reviews below read (yet!)…
L- Mid amber, pours with minimal haze and a 2Cm undulating white head. Holds well.
S- That bouquet of Belgian (yeast) spice notes.Quite light scent though, and no sense of whisky yet for me.
T- Boof! Spicy, specifically peppery, the whole Belgian yeast/estery complex of scents. The ABV% is also 'visible' to my magic all-seeing tongue, oh yes indeedy. It's enjoying the way the estery roundness blends with the slight piquant hops and ABV% notes. There is the faintest of alt flavour-tangs in the finish too, seems to be pepper and is that the whisky barrel ageing too? - If so it is certainly mild; no bad thing, subtlety if often a virtue when it comes to beer IME.
F- Lovely. It's overall character is that of a Belgian Tripel. It has a quite complex and interesting spectrum going on to keep the palate busy.
O- Going down a treat and I'd very happily drink this one again. Perfect for slow-sipping.
Review/scoring all done, now the reveal, I get to read the bottle lables to see what I missed!
330ml bottle BB: 19/07/2022 £3 Bought from BeersOfEurope, King's Lynn/UK as part of a large pick-your own consignment to London.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
