A- dark amber color with great clarity. Creamy white head a finger thick in a pub glass.
S- piney, resinous, grassy, slight vanilla.
T- still big on the pine and hop resins, but there's a good malt presence with some caramel and vanilla flavors. A bit of sweetness lingers.
M- thick and malty mouthfeel but it still has an aggressive hop bitterness that comes throughout. It's got a lively carbonation and a dry finish with a touch of sweetness. It'd be hard to throw back more than two of these without feeling full.
Another top-notch IPA from Bosque. It's a good one so I'll forgive them for not brewing something more interesting or different.
