Served in a slender 16 ounce glass at the brewery.
Creamy, milkshake like head, vanilla in color. Brown body that approaches black. Good head persistence.
Smell suggests some chocolate and caramel, but it's kind of faint. Not detecting much coffee.
Tastes sweet and chocolatey with a light floral hop presence and a sweet coffee finish. Lingers a tad roasty.
Smooth as silk thanks to the nitrogen. Drinks far too easily. Bit of bitterness on the finish, but mostly just a mellow sweetness.
Very good, but I want more chocolate and more coffee.
