Growler pour into an oversized tulip.
One of the more East Coast-haze beers I've ever seen in New Mexico. It's almost identical to grapefruit juice, from the pink-hued orange liquid to the cloudy liquid. Light head but the fill was a bit problematic.
Smell is immense tropical fruit. Passionfruit, mango, pineapple. Dank and resinous to boot. Some grapefruit peel is in the mix. So much fruitiness going on it's hard for me to pinpoint it all.
Man, the flavor and feel on this are so wild. It's light and juicy initially. Like straight up juice. And then some light carbonation kicks in. Citrus is so present here that I'm beginning to think the "Beermosa" name apt, even if I hate it. This beer does feel like there's orange juice right in the mix (blood oranges were added to the brew, as was grapefruit in some form). Tropical notes continue throughout and there's just so much flavor and feel to take in.
All the while this thing is refreshing as all hell. It has that dry and zesty grapefruit feel that will linger for days while still keeping some sweet juiciness. Goddamn.
This beer is just fire. Juicy and delicious. I'm already mad at Bosque because I know this will come and go soon enough and this beer needs to be put in a can. Fuck Grapefruit Sculpin. I want this all summer.
