Not sure how this happens. Like a reverse black IPA. Looks like a golden ale, tastes like chocolate stout.

The bite is the same as you get from stout with a slight creamy sweetness. Amazing beer!

10 ounce pour at the brewery in a pub glass.
Golden color and perfectly clear. Transparency is total. Frothy pale white head with a wall of lace. Gorgeous. 5
Smells incredibly chocolatey. Like a dark chocolate bar with about 90% cacao. How Sway? How? I don't have the answers. Light coffee and cream but mostly just a rich, sharp dark chocolate. 4.25
Go buy a dark chocolate bar from your favorite hippie-dippie store. Bite into it. Or drink this. Same effect. This beer should have packaging boasting about some farm in Costa Rica where John Bullard visited and hand picked the beans for a bean-to-beer brew. Then he can take this to Williamsburg and sell it in 4 ounce pours at $15 at a flea market. "Great success!" * Borat voice... Got some sweeter bready malt to follow the dark chocolate and I even notice a light grassy, earthy hop. Touches of vanilla. And then the finish is again that fruity, slightly roasted, slightly brown sugaresque chocolate. Pretty badass. 4.25
Loving the light feel. Maybe less creamy than one expects from a stout but more refreshing. Still plenty of body and a brush of carbonation. It's sweet but reeled in by a light bitterness. 4.25
I'm thinking this is better than my score but I'm always the homer and I just scored the Boxing Best Gose high. This could probably be scored even higher. It's awesome.
