Many a beer aficionado has entered the world of craft beer through an amber ale. The beer’s rusty, auburn complexion and bright clarity are chock-full of biscuit, toasted, caramel, and earthy tones, along with a mild hop bite that dissipates quickly.

Reddish amber body; decent carbonation; thin head; a bit of foam sheeting along the glass. Sweet malt aroma; caramel; quiet hop notes. Great caramel and spicy flavor; rye; earthy spices; great medium-strength hop bitterness. Medium body; tingly and prickly on the palate; somewhat warm.
This beer is a very nice amber ale, rich and inviting, not too complicated yet delivering enough depth and complexity to intrigue a discerning palate.
