The Bosque Co-Op series returns in 2019 with Brewer’s Bruises. Inspired by Nicole from our San Mateo location, this gose will catch your eye with its deep ruby color. It’s loaded with blueberries complemented by calming lavender and a bit of Himalayan salt. It drinks like a glass of dry sparkling rose with a slightly tannic finish. The tartness of blueberries is front and center, while lavender flowers give it floral aromatics that calm the brightness on your palate.

Had on tap. Purplish burgundy pour with an off-white head. Aromas of huge lavender with playfully tart blueberry, salt and general flowers. Taste is overwhelming with the lavender, overpowering the pleasant blueberry with supporting salt, blackberry and red grape skin kiss. Feel is also overwhelmed with floral textures, drying and thinning out the body, backbone is not up to the task of the whole sip either. Not for me
